2022 is the year I lost my mom....

But it is also:
The year that mom and I saw an Elvis tribute show together
The year I got to spend extra time with my family
The year I got back into tap dancing
The year I got promoted to supervisor at work
The year I became friends with Trinity and Bella
The year I had my own classroom for the first time (grade 6 and now grade 5)
The year I saw Imagine Dragons, Jason Mraz and Lady Gaga in concert
The year I travelled to Toronto
The year of my champagne birthday
The year I saw countless new movies
The year I played pool with my friends tons (and somehow I still suck!)
The year I got closer with my dad

This year was not without hardships and tough lessons, but it was filled with beautiful memories and experiences that will continue to shape who I am :) Cheers to 2023!
