Orchids are not usually propagated through seeds by home growers, because they require a special medium and a sterile environment to survive. More on seeds here • Orchid seeds What you need to know ...
But propagation is not impossible. After polination, a seed pod will slowly start to swell for a few months. Seeds are general like dust and in large numbers. Just sprinkling them on the medium will not result in anything most probably, but I just didn't want to throw them :P
