I have been putting a lot of thought into the notebooks I use as of late. Mostly because my usual Moleskine notebooks have just had poor quality control over the past few years and I want something more reliable. I've also been wanting to find something a little more indulgent in nature for my daily journal. After using one of The Onion Skin Journal's XL journals for my quote journal I'm not sure what could be more indulgent paperwise! This is my second order from them and am very excited for it! The hang up I have had with these journals has been the branding on the spine of the journals. I like a plainer look with less branding overall. I do appreciate that they have some lower profile foils. The Onion Skin Journal just released a 5 volume edition set of their notebooks, so instead of having them all say "Vol. 1" there are volumes 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5! This gives the spine stamping some use which I like. I would still love to see editions without the spine or ouroboros stamping.
