Out of all the Class 171 DMU videos, this video is the longest yet at the longest tunnel on their entire journey from Eastbourne to Ashford International, Ore Tunnel, which is 1402 yards long! In the middle of Coghurst Wood, in the middle of a nice spring day, with very little human activity, Jordan and Fitzherbert film a train heading towards Ashford International, which turns out to be the oldest Class 171 DMU still active, 171 201, and one heading towards Eastbourne (171 803)! Because the tunnel is 90% straight, with a large curve at the opposite end to where they are, you can see the headlights growing and shrinking because the end of the tunnel they are at is the summit of the Marshlink Line and the only place you can see DMUs entering and exiting the tunnel because there is no bridge at the other end!
