There are more ethnic Tamils on the planet than there are Italians, but what do you know about the origin and history of the Tamils? The Tamils are an extremely ancient group with a history that ties them with many in and around the Subcontinent, particularly Southeast Asia, and in the past were one of the major classical civilizations of South Asia, but not even those from India really know too much about them.

In today's video we'll be looking at the Tamil's, one of Southern India's most wellknown people groups, as well as their relation to the other Dravidian groups, Indians and many of those who interacted with them over the millennia such as the Aryans, Europeans, Arabs and others.
