It is here on the Island of São Jorge, in the Azores, that Álvaro Amarante's bulls graze, in an exuberant landscape where peace and calm reign. The pastures are unique and original, with the majestic Pico Island, the highest point in Portugal, as a backdrop. We spoke with the owner who received us with his usual kindness and took us to know the four corners of his property.
