The 144hour transit visafree policy allows travelers from certain countries to enter and stay within specific regions of China for up to 144 hours (six days) without needing a visa. This policy is designed to promote tourism and make short visits more convenient for international travelers.

How the 144Hour Transit VisaFree Policy Works
Eligibility:

Countries: Citizens of 53 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and most European countries, are eligible.
Transit: The policy applies to travelers transiting through China to a third country or region. For example, you must be traveling from Country A, stopping in China, and then traveling to Country B (not returning to Country A).
