A few subscribers told us that Davis Mountains State Park in Fort Davis, TX was a must stop. So… stop we did. And they were totally correct. Great state park. Our stop though was one where we needed to reprovision, clean the van, clean us and our clothes and do some high level planning for the next 23 weeks of travel west. We did all of that plus managed to meet a dog on a motorcycle and find the best drug store hamburger we’ve ever had.
