A common problem with Albizia, sometimes they grow into large trees that you can enjoy for years and sometimes they die suddenly. Our Albizia julibrissin 'Evey's Pride' was doing fine until last summer, suddenly the leaves turned yellow and many of the smaller branches died.

Now, in early spring, most of the the tree is suffering and I'm going to remove it. I planted it as a temporary tree and I already had a replacement at home that was growing in a pot for a few years now: Kalopanax septemlobus.
