Unfortunately we ran into some car trouble in a fairly remote part of North Iceland. Initially what we thought was a small problem ended up being a big inconvenience and ultimately the vehicle I was driving needed to be replaced.

Luckily for us the rental car company was fast to act and were able to get us a replacement vehicle within 12 hours, which was genuinely impressive given our 500km+ distance away form their lot. Not to mention insurance claims, towing, availability of a 9 seater van, etc.

I go into this with more detail at the end of the video. I want to apologies for not having more footage of the events. The problem arose late after Dettifoss and I had to find a solution hours later when the mechanic opened in Husavik.

It's all in the name of adventure... and photography.
