Mark Bartha is interested in exploring the possibilities of human voice as the basic element of musical composition. He likes to use his own voice as material to build intricate and complex patterns of rhythm, noise and harmonies. His works have been featured not only as compositions and individual pieces at international music festivals, but as elements of dance and collaborative performances as well. His current studies at the Electronic Music and Media Arts program at the University of Pécs inspired him to expand his work towards using electronic sound, algorithmic composition methods and constructing interactive musical systems.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, selforganized events that bring people together to share a TEDlike experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, selforganized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
