New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates how to make Ovenroasted Cornish hens. The hens are rinsed and trimmed of fat. From there they are marinated with a seasoned onion garlic herb marinate for 4 hours or overnight. Next, they are placed in a roasting pan with some butter and water, and they are roasted in the oven until they are tender, juicy and fully cooked. This recipe makes 4 hens which can serve 4 people per hen or 8 people per half of a hen. It is great alternative to making Turkey. It's also seasoned, flavorful, juicy and absolutely delicious.
