After contracting polio as a 9yearold, Audrey King spent months in an iron lung and years in numerous English hospitals. Aside from the extreme difficulties of her physical paralysis, these experiences made it hard for her to build and maintain interpersonal relationships until adulthood. Audrey shares her moving account and how she has managed to overcome these challenges.
