Overcoming Gravity is considered by many to be the bible of bodyweight fitness and gymnastics strength. I've had the book for several years and referred to it many times for programming and progression information. It helped me in achieving a handstand, muscle up and several other moves. So after all the requests for my thoughts on it, here is my Overcoming Gravity review.

For those of you who don't have the time or patience to sit through the entire video, overall I definitely recommend this book. Some of the main points I emphasize in the review are that Overcoming Gravity is huge on gymnastics rings exercises, so keep that in mind if you're not yet into rings or care to learn gymnasticsstyle calisthenics. Also, this is definitely not the most beginner friendly book on bodyweight fitness and calisthenics. However, with that said, there are MANY upsides to the book, such as the sheer amount of information Steven Low provides on training principles and programming methods, plus the highly detailed exercise progressions that are all explained in great detail.

Overall, this is a great book and quite possibly the best I've found on calisthenics to date. Check out the link at the top of this description box if you're interested in seeing more about it.
