Overcoming Self-Doubt as an Artist

Hello Lovelies!

This video is a sped up art process video with voiceover showing the creation of a recent commission for my friend Mary. (Hi, Mary!)

I had fun making this piece, but I also struggled with some selfdoubt during the process. "Was it good enough?" "Do I like it?"

I haven't made a piece like this one before, and while I was creating intuitively...mostly.

Instead of listening to the negative selftalk in my head, I should have trusted The Flow and known that the process was gonna get me where I needed to be.

The piece turned out great and I really love it! And, bonus: Mary loved it too!

Thanks for watching.
