Overseas Pharmacists In Australia ( Alternative Routes)!

Follow
Juliet Chinelo.

In this video, I will discuss alternative routes overseas trained pharmacists can follow to settle in Australia and the possibility of getting PR via each route.
The information will benefit people that are financially constrained or unable to get the required band scores in IELTS, OET, etc. Also, for those that just want to be on the move, and hoping to sort their documents assessment and KAPS with the Australian Pharmacy Council on arrival.

The first alternative will be to look out for sponsored jobs in Australia. These types of jobs are often available in the farms and industrial settings where you can work as a seasonal worker on a permanent or casual contract work visa. Secondly, you can do healthcarerelated jobs such as carer, support worker, nursing aid, medical receptionist. Thirdly, If you have a distinct skill and experience such as salesman or marketing with a multinational abroad, you can approach the multinational over here if they advertise for a similar role. Fourthly, you can learn a menial job that is among the long time shortage list in Australia.

The second alternative would be to follow the Australia point system for PR. In the point system, many factors such as age, level of education, and work experience are all considered, which might get you a good point.

Thirdly, you can migrate through studies. MSC in Pharmacy graduateentry will get you there. Here list of 4 Australian universities offering it:
Monash University.
The University of Sydney
University of Western Australia
Griffith University.
