New sports drama “Over/Under” (Proof of Concept)

Directed & Filmed by David Kirkman from a script written by Shawn Roundtree Jr. The cast is also led by Roundtree Jr (Chicago PD). The project will be debuts for Beau Bommarito and Darrian A. Bass. Both Bommarito and Bass are a part of the viral content group @daguysstl. Bommarito stepped into acting a year ago. Bass is new to the film industry, and has filmed a feature film in San Diego.

The plot revolves around lead character Kano, played by Roundtree Jr, and good friend Casey, played by Bommarito. The duo are collegiate basketball players. They’ve had success early in their season, attracting all the attention from the right and wrong people. They have a run in with sports gambler, Jamar, who offers them an ultimatum that could change the athletes’ lives. However, if it all goes wrong…there could be high stakes that the two might not ever recover from.
