A small pipe setup, testing Epoxy Pipe Repair through a 40mm PVC waste line. The idea is to introduce the Epoxy into the pipe using pressurised air, which pushes the Epoxy all the way through the line forming a thin protective coating in the pipe. Any blemishes or holes are filled up and sealed at the same time. We performed this coating through a standard basin waste fitting using a waste pipe plug.
The concept is the simplicity of the setup and speed of the repair, avoiding the need to chop or excavate to achieve this. Using the correct preparation method and the appropriate Epoxy for the pipe application, this method promises to make Pipe ReLining more accessible to plumbers and customers alike.
