sooner or later it comes around to all who fly rc. this wasnt a problem of my futaba system it was too much of a hurry? too hot out? low lifE battery? poor plug in connection? what ever the case it was human error. you can see the left wingtip drop coming out of the last bank before the loop. that wasnt me on the controls that was my first clue there was something wrong and as i went into the loop the elevator was mush and whatever it was caused a snap and the rest is history. The good news is that the FG19 made it! as soon as i was able i had the wee 3 cylinder radial on the hard stand and it seems to have made through this just fine . i had to bend back the motor mounts and there is a small chip in the velocity stack but the engine still runs just fine and will find its new home on my topflite .60 corsair, video to come so stay tuned!
