Disliked in the West and sent in large numbers to the Soviet Union, the Bell P63 Kingcobra ended up seeing little action during World War Two and, consequently, became one of the lesserknown American fighters of the period, especially considering more than 3,000 were built. But was the outcast Kingcobra totally without merit?
