Part 1 of 2 — Come fly with me as we travel from Austin to Memphis to Raleigh. This was the first leg of our annual beach trip to coastal North Carolina. The flight was mostly smooth, but we encountered some minor maintenance issues (fuel pump) and descended through some bumpy weather while avoiding storms over Tennessee.

The next installment will be the rest of the trip — NC, MD, NJ, NC (again), and TX.
