॥ বিয়েবাড়ির পাবদা মাছের ঝাল॥

সানাইয়ে বাজে ইমনের সুর, ফুলসাজ ওই দ্বারে,
কন্যার পিতা সেথায় দাঁড়ায়ে স্বাগত করে সবারে।
ঠাকুমা দিদিমা কত আহ্লাদে লিখেছে বিয়ের পদ্য,
বহু যতনেতে একত্র করি’ ছাপানো হয়েছে সদ্য।
সে পদ্যে আছে মা মাসী কাকী সবার আশিস কত,
মনের কথাটি পদ্যে লিখেছে ভাইবোন সখী যত।
বিয়ের দুপুরে কত আয়োজন, কত না পদের সারি,
তাহাদের মাঝে এই রান্নাটি নিয়াছে মনটি কাড়ি’।
সে রান্না আজ রাখিনু সামনে পরম যত্নে আনি
সাথে রয় বিয়েবাড়ির পদ্য হারানো সেই কাহিনী।
খেলা ভেঙে যবে মাল্য শুকায়, সানাই সুরটি থামে,
শুধু এ গল্প আর এ পদটি স্মৃতিভার বুকে জমে।
