This painting tutorial is going to focus on painting for beginners, and specifically how to paint a sunflower. I find that many painting beginners feel intimidated by a white canvas, and struggle with selfbelief and confidence. I want this painting tutorial to help give you painting confidence and to enjoy painting, even if you're a beginner.

We will be using simple painting techniques and I will show you how to use your brush to create petal shapes. We're going to be using a reference photo so you can see exactly how I paint a sunflower, step by step all in real time. I love painting flowers and sunflowers are one of the happiest around so I want to spread happiness and positivity whilst I show you this painting for beginners.
