Today we are going to show you how to set up the Motion 2 controller with the DJI Mavic 3 Pro.

The Motion 2 controller allows for a new way to fly your Mavic 3 Pro, and if you're familiar with FPV flying, it's a lot of fun.

This feature enables control of the drone with hand motions instead of the traditional controller interactions allowing for a more organic and creative interaction.

To begin setting up your Motion 2 controller with the DJI Mavic 3 Pro, you will need the following:

Your, DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone
Your, Motion 2 controller,
The DJI Goggle 2 or Integra Goggles
And if using the DJI Goggle 2 a USBC cable
And lastly a Smartphone or tablet with the DJI Fly app

MAKE SURE ALL FIRMWARE IS UPDATED, Aircraft, controller, goggles AND THE FLY APP HAS been updated as well.

Make sure to charge the Motion 2 controller and your Goggles
The motion controller comes with a builtin battery, so using your USBC cable plug it into a secure power source and it should take about 2 hours to fully charge.

To Pair your aircraft to your goggles press and hold the power button on the aircraft for about 5 seconds till the aircraft ESCs beep and then by doing the same for the Integra goggles till they start to beep after 5 seconds.

If you're using the DJI Goggle 2 you will simply press the pairing button between the lenses one time. With either pair of goggles the first time you do this with a new aircraft model the goggle will prompt you for permission to change modes. Click to agree and then the goggle will reboot. After it completes the fresh boot up process you will have to repeat the pairing process and the goggles will then pair to the aircraft.


Next you will want to pair your Motion controller.

Pairing the Motion 2 controller with the DJI Mavic 3 Pro
First power on both devices. Wait till you get a video signal in your goggles and then, on the controller, press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds until the LED light flashes blue.

On the Mavic 3 Pro, press the power button for about 5 seconds until you hear the ESCs beep. Wait just a couple seconds and both devices will stop beeping. If the device fails to connect, verify that your device has the most recent firmware and that all devices are activated with the DJI Assistant 2 for FPV software, available at www.dji.com.

You have now successfully set up the Motion 2 controller with the DJI Mavic 3 Pro which means you are officially ready to take flight and experience the next level of FPV drone capture.
