A "shallow" dive tutorial for Pamela's New Workout module by ALM Busy Circuits.

Not meant to be too deep or overwhelming. For people, like me, who might be a bit new to modular and are still figuring things out. Or maybe you are still unsure of what this module does or if it is right for you.

Found this helpful? Well, there is a part 2 now! A bit more low key, but I look at a few more of the basics:    • Pamela's New Workout SHALLOW Dive Tut...

I go through the basics of the home BPM screen, the control knobs/buttons and inputs/outputs, connect some different voices, uplaits (Plaits clone) and 2 Dreadbox Hysteria modules. We trigger plucks, set random notes, send different waves to control the envelope on a VCA, and I modulate the cutoff frequency on an Electrosmith 2144 low pass filter.

Again, I am somewhat new to modular, so I may get a term a little bit off here and there, but hopefully I can explain things in a way that is easy to understand.

While you are here, please check out some more of my videos! There is plenty of music and a few (usually cheaper) gear reviews and plenty more to come. Still enjoying? Please consider subscribing!

Essentially, this is a simple and uncomplicated look at the most basic functions that will, hopefully, get you going. Not every function will be covered!

NOTE! The small screen might be difficult to read during the parameter selections; this is almost how the screen actually looks. There is some slight difference due to my cheap lights and old phone's camera, but essentially, the parameter selection screen is a bit faint in real life.

Part 2 is out now! Linked above and at the end of this video or can be found within my other videos.

Thanks for coming by and hopefully you'll visit again.

Cheers!
