Join me as I tackle the Pan Celtic, an ultradistance cycling event, in its 5th and final edition in 2024. Starting on the Isle of Man, this epic route spans Northern England, the Lake District, and the stunning landscapes of Scotland and its islands. Despite a challenging runup to the event, I decided to take my place at the start line, ready for what promised to be 2200 kilometres of riding with 28,000 meters of elevation.

This video shows a weeklong journey broken into various segments, showcasing some of my favourite places to ride, from the rugged beauty of the Lake District to the breathtaking vistas of Western Scotland. While I didn't complete the full Pan Celtic route, I enjoyed my own version, skipping sections due to illness, but adding in a few extra bonus sections, including the Isle of Arran, and the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse.

Congratulations to everyone who started, especially those who completed short, long and hybrid versions such as mine.
