This is the first video in my series on Pancake Push Key Padlocks: Picking & Decoding, were I will show you all of the tools and method needed to successfully open a pancake lock and how to make an accurate key but before we dive in, I would like to take a moment and express just how beautiful these locks really are. They came from a very different time when everything was made to last and every part/tool was reused and recycled. I am very happy to own a part of the time and history.
The series will consist of the following:
Video #1: The tools you will need, how to make them and what material to make them from.
Video #2: The methods to open a pancake lock using the tools made in video #1.
Video #3: Showing you how I use the tools and methods to open a pancake padlock that I have never opened before.
