An American Airlines Airbus A319 registration N744P, performing flight AAL2963 from Washington Reagan National Airport (KDCA) to Charleston International/AFB Airport (KCHS).
During climb out of Reagan Airport declared PANPAN and decided to divert to Dulles Airport (KIAD). A couple of minutes later the crew declared MAYDAY, reported hydraulic system failure and requested the longest runway.
