Ever since my friend Paul Moore of Pmooreknives.webs.com turned me on to this method, I've not tied my shoes the "old" way again! When dressed properly, it won't fail on its own what more can you ask for. It is similar in concept to the Surgeon's Knot, however it is tied with bights so that it can still be untied with a firm pull of the working ends.
