03192023 Hatchers Pass K6332. Had a awesome activation in the mountains of Hatchers Pass Alaska. Pleasant encounter with a Alaska Park Ranger as always. I got my 10 contacts before being stepped on by a net that started on top of my activation without asking if the frequency was in use. I would of gladly qsy if they had asked but nope, just started the net on top of my activation. I’d say 95% of amateur radio operators are incredible to work and share frequencies with. Then you have the other 5%, like this net, who thinks they own the frequency. The latter is not how this great hobby is represented.
