It's a rudimentary yet effective method, much like the ones the Incas used. The technique involves stacking rocks to create a barrier that traps the gold.

As water and goldrich material flow over these rocks, the water slows down, causing the heavier gold to settle into the small gaps between the rocks. This simple hydraulic mining method has been in use for centuries, and Gerano continues to use it successfully. Parker is amazed at seeing a mining method he's never encountered before.
