The school where a teenage gunman killed 17 of his classmates and injured 17 others is finally being demolished six years later. Tragedy struck the community of Parkland, Florida when a student armed with an AR15 rifle opened fire on his defenseless classmates. The crime scene was preserved for a jury walkthrough during the shooter’s sentencing trial. Law&Crime’s Sierra Gillespie takes a look back at the powerful victim impact statements from the families of the victims.
The 19yearold shooter was a former student of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
