Parkzone Radian Pro PNP - Review and Maiden Flight

Sorry about the single POV video, but the GoPro was having issues and I had to use my iPhone and a tripod. Of course I figured out the GoPro issues when I got home. There was no wind lower than the trees, but there was some up higher. Next time I have to remember when using a tripod to point the camera up higher before taking off. The flight views you are seeing are pretty much the end of the glides in the dead air below the tree tops. What you can see is how fast you can get elevation when you turn the motor on. I'll have to take another video of it just flying so you can see how it creeps along with the flaps down. I have the flaps at 100% with a 30% elevator mix. My total flight time was 15 minutes and it went by surprisingly quick because flying the Radian Pro was fun and relaxing. If you have been thinking about a larger glider and have experience with a 4 or 5 channel plane, I can definitely recommend the Radian Pro. A lot of people think there is no dihedral like the Adagio 280, but there is some just past the flaps so there is a little assistance with self leveling. Because I was using a non AS3X RX and the surfaces were not off by much after assembly, I was able to trim the surfaces on the radio.
