I'm adding a proper sevenslot card cage to my TRS80 Model 12. To do that, I had to create my own 3Dprinted card cage that will be installed into the Model 12. In this first part of the series, I take a look at why the Model 12 didn't include a cage, disassemble the system, and look at the current state of the system. I also remove the old threeslot expansion (added previously), and walk through the mockup and prototyping stages of my card cage build.
