The ATLANTIC VISION, a fast ropax ferry, boasts impressive specifications that make it a standout vessel in North American waters. Originally christened in 2002 as the SUPERFAST IX, this behemoth was built in Kiel, Germany. She is currently owned by the Estonian company Tallink and operates under charter to Canadian operator Marine Atlantic.

Throughout its service history, the MV ATLANTIC VISION has undergone significant changes. It transitioned from Superfast Ferries' European routes to Tallink's Baltic operations, before finding its current home with Marine Atlantic in 2008. The vessel underwent several refits, notably in 2004 and 2008, to enhance its passenger and vehicle capacities. As of 2016, it operates between North Sydney, Nova Scotia, and the Newfoundland ports of ChannelPort aux Basques and Argentia. Notably, it has the distinction of being the fastest and largest KWrated ferry in North America.
