Specifications of the ferry GRAND MANAN ADVENTURE:

This singleended roll on/roll off vessel spans approximately 85.5 meters in length, 18.5 meters in width, and 7.2 meters in height. It can carry up to 380 passengers and 82 cars. The ferry, delivered in 2009, is currently providing service between Blacks Harbour and the Grand Manan Island in New Brunswick, Canada.

Equipped with 2 EMD 12cylinder engines and 2 Caterpillar C18 generators, the ferry can smoothly navigate the rough water conditions in the Bay of Fundy. It also boasts hydraulic hoistable ramps, specially designed doors for quick stowing of vehicles, and an uncommon feature on North American ferries: a highpressure water mist firefighting system.
