1 PETER 5:8
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

It is the Devils desire that every soul should perish with him But God desires to save many and that's why He has not returned yet so that ours spots can get cleaned by Him only if we call on Him to save us because God is coming for a spotless bride
