Patrik Pietschmann Echoes from the Past (Piano Version)
Composed by Patrik Pietschmann

I'm back from a little summer break and I'm happy to present you my fourth original composition in a row, to which you can listen to the corresponding orchestral version on all music streaming platforms again.

You can fill whole books about the topic "past" and there are countless life wisdoms about it. Although I am someone who prefers to look to the future, for me personally not a day goes by that I don't deal with my own past. Whether privately or professionally, every single day shows me where the strengths and weaknesses of my personality and capabilities lie. In these moments I try to understand why I have become who I am and why, for example, it is difficult for me to break out of certain habits. On a musical level, this can also be applied to our listening habits, because there is a good reason why each of us favors certain styles of music, because each music genre expresses a certain attitude towards life and triggers positive feelings and memories from certain situations in our own past. Our memories and experiences, whether positive or negative, make us who we are today and who we want to be in the future. Like resonating echoes, they remind us every single day of what is important in life and what makes each of us unique. Like a compass, they give us direction in times of disorientation and help us stay true to ourselves. That's what I wanted to express musically with "Echoes from the Past".
