In this Steam Deck DayZ guide, I show you how to use my Steam Input game pad template, or how to create your own, that should make it possible to play DayZ PC on your SteamDeck without the need for an external mouse and keyboard.

DayZ PC does have partial gampad controller support but you need m & k to o inventory management and access the quickkey numbers, but by adding a radial menu on the left trackpad, and adding a "space bar" input on the middle of the righttrack pad, we can solve these issues and more.
