The PE1 is a dual band parametric EQ and simple two channel mixer. It is inspired by the EQ circuits used in early ‘Portastudio’ type 4 track tape mixers. PE1 provides +/12db of boost and cut across 2 selected frequency bands. The top band ranges from 1kHz 8kHz and the bottom band from 62Hz 1.5kHz.

In this video we look at some common uses; a classic EQ, adding warmth & character to a digital source and shaping the feedback loop of a delay patch.
