On this Day in the Life we head aboard the USCGC Taney, the sole surviving ship involved in the conflict at Pearl Harbor. If you don't like long rambling historic tours, skip this one! As a Coast Guard veteran visiting the ship was not only a humbling reminder of the Coast Guard's history, but a nostalgic walk down memory lane. The historic ships tour in Baltimore is well worth the visit if you are ever in the area!
