It's my first time taking KTM to Penang. Kudos to the event organizer, collaborating with KTMB. So there's this chartered train specially for the participants, not free but reasonable price which includes the train ride from KL to Butterworth, then ferry ride from Butterworth to Penang.

It was a great experience indeed. The KTMB staff for this chartered train were extremely helpful and well organized. There's a dedicated coach for our bikes and 2 dedicated coach for the event participants. I think in order to reduce their losses, KTMB also opened up some seats for public but they were in a different coach.

My only complain was the cafe coach, very limited food and beverage options. Maybe they can improve in that portion.

As for the event. It was well organized by Howei Event Team too! I love the jersey, with Pokok Pinang leaf as inspiration, creative! Love it! The lead car, police & marshalls did superb job in managing the traffic and controlling the pace but I just wonder why all cramp up in UOW Uni? Maybe easier for organize to manage as well.

It was my first time cycling from old Penang bridge to the new one, as usual, the wind is terrible but still love to cycle on it, one heck of a experience.

And lastly, super grateful for my friend's family & friends. They were cheering us towards the end, their support definitely give me the final oomph to turbo towards the end. Thank you guys!

Overall, I had a splendid trip!
