Newborn babies who need intensive medical attention will be cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Jim Pattison Children's Hospital. The NICU provides 24hour care to prematurely born babies and critically ill infants who require tightly controlled environments in which to receive treatments.

Bloom started with mom’s having a special place in their hearts for the NICU, wanting to find a way to give back to the place that cared for and saved their newborn babies. These moms cherish the NICU staff, their “Angels on Earth”, for providing them with a miracle and wanting to find a way to show their gratitude.
