In this session, we're using lures to target perch and pike with our ultralight setup on the Taunton and Bridgwater canal.
We managed to find a number of swims where the roach was spawning and the predators weren't far behind to take advantage.
Even with perch and pike at my feet unfortunately I just had one of those days where nothing seems to go quite right. But I did manage to hook into a nice perch and one of us had a great session landing multiple target species.
