An important class of reactions is the pericyclic reactions. We've been introduced to one subclass of these, cycloaddition reactions, when we looked at the DielsAlder reaction. For the next few tutorials we will learn about some other important pericyclic reactions, but let's start by refreshing out memory with that first classic reaction.
