Oh my, lovely Perth, capital of Western Australia.

History says: It was founded in 1829 as the Swan River Colony. Within one year solid masonry buildings and structures began to appear all over Perth, with some of the largest and most intricate in Fremantle. A majority of these early buildings are said to have been constructed by the “Inmate Workforce” of Western Australia.


Most of these priceless buildings were severely damaged by Earthquake in 1968, and/or destroyed, partially demolished or forgotten through time. Here is a brief photographic compilation of some of the more interesting images I found of Perth, WA, Australia. Thanks for watching!
