Pete Schroeder bought his Fokker DR1 home build kit from Airdrome Aeroplanes in April 2021. His first flight took place July 5th, 2023 at Twin Lakes Airport, Advance, NC. The custom prop is from Culver Props in Rolla, MO. Special thanks to Terry Wiley and his amazing welding skills on the exhaust system. Terry's help was instrumental in this engine's authentic WWI sound.

Pete is an Air Force veteran and retired American Airlines Pilot. His next project is an SE5a, also from Airdrome Aeroplanes. In his spare time, he is the CEO, Chief Extruding Officer, at Lake Lismore Pottery. Stay tuned!
