There are many ways to prevent Japanese beetles from coming to your garden and prevent them from further damaging plants if they are already present in your area. When taking preventative measures, planning early in the season is key. It's important to begin with lawn care such as GrubEx® or Milky Spore Grub Control because they begin as white grubs in the lawn and mature to adult beetles in the landscape. If you're already experiencing issues with Japanese Beetle damage in the garden, we recommend trying sprays such as Bonide® Japanese Beetle Killer, Tomato & Vegetable spray, or Rose Rx 3 in 1 spray. The key thing to remember when spraying for Japanese Beetles is "see bug, spray bug".
