In this week's news wrap David Taylor looks at three brandnew performance vehicles which have just been revealed. There's the Audi RS Q8 Performance, which could be seen as the World's Fastest SUV, elbowing its Porsche Cayenne compatriot out the way. Awkward!

Following that is a brandnew BMW M5 which now features hybrid power and it will be in South Africa sooner than you think. But the elephant in the room is the weight, that hybrid tech adds some pounds.

Finally, everyone loves the Volkswagen Golf R and this facelifted 8.5 version should continue to break hearts. VW says it's the most powerful Golf to date and we unpack the performance numbers.
