The jelly mittai is also known as jujubes and these are a great petti kadai snack very popular with 90s kids. Consistency of sugar syrup is critical for making these gummy mittai. Also in this recipe we have used gelatin but the same procedure can be used using agar agar for gummy candy without gelatin.
